BTW, you guys **** at dishing out install advice. No reply at all:

I am trying to figure out what to do with the large *** piece of plastic on my 4 runner where my front speakers go (similar to the one in the photo in that link).

I don't know whether I should use that piece (sanded and deadened) or just replace it with a one the same shape size but made out of wood, or make rings and fill in the top portion with plexi.
