Flipp, I think you should try not to dwell on your ex. I don't see what good can come of it. Standing way over on the sidelines, I think that this girl was just getting to the point where she wanted to get married, whether you ever discussed it or not. Some gorls are like that, they want to get married soon and they are less concerned about who they marry.

Yes. She wanted to get married to me for some reason. I have the same fear about my current gf. When they imagine their husbands coming home from work or whatever, the guy doesn't have a face...just as long as its a guy.
I think my issue isn't necessarily with her getting married as my own self-guilt. This girl at work explained that sometimes you go through stages where you treat people like trash....kinda like she is a casualty of my maturity. Which isn't fair, but she said that's life.

Let's see, she goes directly from wanting to marry you to getting engaged ASAP with the next guy. I think you need to quit kicking yourself. It sounds like properly read the situation and acted accordingly.
