Here's an important debate with some economists (and wannabe economists) on another site I visit.
Data suggests that children over two are not more likely to be hurt in automobile accidents after the age of two if they are not in car seats. Meaning the car seat is a waste of money and time. However, the dispute is that the child will wrangle out of a regular passive restraint (what you and I use) and the car seat is safer because the passive restraint will be improperly used. The counter argument is the using data showing deaths from car seats where the parent improperly used the car seat.

If I ever finish my PhD, I am going to pursue the relationship between dominate hand and cavities. Is one more likely to get cavities on the same of the mouth as their dominate hand? If the data suggests it, how could one redesign the toothbrush to make it more comfortable to brush the other side of your mouth? I am looking at a toothbrush with a swivel top so the user could continue the same motion throughout the brushing process, rather than changing the grip into one that is uncomfortable and thus doing a lower quality job.
