I had assumed the money was safe under her control, if I had full control over it I would be tempted to splurge on things not related to my education.

I find it difficult to seeing as she told me nothing about it until I needed to withdraw the money, I asked here the status of the account several weeks ago and she claimed to not know how much was in it. So she flat out lied to me.

I would not be nearly as upset if I had some heads up on it, but to already be out and relying on the money, and to find out it's not there is f'ed.

Depends on what she spent it on...if she really needed it to survive, no issue. If it allowed her to supersize her McDonald's combo, I'd be pissed.

It was a combination of her and me putting in money, whenever I would get birthday or xmas money I would put most of it in the account. And put whatever I could, my grand parents also helped put money in the account.
