That's just on SSA because they like to be egotistical. It's a class in MECA...which they also point their noses at.
Because SSA gets basically no traffic, they come over here. Seriously, we have more posts in an hour than they do in a day.

I really want to work in an audio shop, as in installer or sales rep, but I simply cannot find the time as a full time student. I've asked this question plenty of times, but how are you guys who go to school able to work in an audio shop? Night classes, part time student, failing college???

I really don't see a reason to for anyone to get offended by the term. I know what people mean when they use it, and so does everyone else.

No hate here -- I find the site not to be very user friendly (and slow) so I don't go there much. Plus I prefer a forum with a ratio of 9 parts BS to one part audio.

the problem stems from this:

kid runs stock speakers and a MT = SPL

kid runs coax's off the HU and a XXX = SQL

that second set up is still very, very far from any semblance of actual SQ so any moniker with "SQ" in it is inappropriate
