Nah, I have been out a while now. But I think that you missed your calling in the Army. You should have been a chaplain, or maybe a shrink. Seeing through the BS is your gift (but not very sought after in most MOS's).

I would be a GS-11 if I moved to Ohio. But fvck that. I may seek a job with MDA (Missile Defense Agency) after I finish my MBA. They are giving out GM-14 jobs left and right. MDA is in huntsville.

In basic training? Yes. You shoot an m16, m249, and some people shoot the M203 (grenade launcher, on bottom of m16), I was a lucky one. And one person got to shoot an at4.

Did your ears ring right away when you shot those?

Oh yeah forgot about the grenade. The gas chamber eh. Not so fun. On the Last FTX we got gassed twice. In the endagered bird area at that. Ill never forget that. Drill sergeant told me to lie to Range control.

We were usually wearing ear plugs. The m203 makes no noise when you shoot it. And if it lands far enough away you dont really need ear plugs. I only had one in. I went down to wearing only one when I was at the range. The right ear plug I always kept in.
