Towards the end when Jenny dies and he is at her grave. He kept the dream alive and it was snatched from him when she died. Although everyone else thought he was successful, he never got to be successful for very long.

I semi see your point, but it is not the main thing. Point is he did succeed. One doesn't have to be on top for long, it's just good to get there and say you did. Either way, crying about it is for teh gays. Which I am ok with, just keep it away from me, ok?
