Tried calling her tonight at the hospital but the nurse or whatever who does the phones said she had just gotten pain medicine and was asleep and wouldn't be very responsive after the medication so I told them not to bother. I guess something in her spine or whatever got displaced and pinched a nerve. I take it they will try to realign it without surgery, but if they can't they will have to operate. It's serious enough that they would transfer her to the University of Michigan or Detroit to do it.

My sister is just a bad driver. It was weather related but she is an awful driver. She spun out and wrapped the car around a tree. She hit the tree sideways on the driver's side and her head I guess slammed to the side and when the car bounced off the tree, her head whipped backwards giving her whiplash.

This is why I didn't go to the thanksgiving day game. It just wouldn't have been right for me to take her tickets and leave her in the hospital.

My sister got into a car wreck the night before thanksgiving and got a bad head injury. Well yesterday her legs just gave out and she had severe back pain. The doctors say now something got jared in her neck/spine area and they may need to operate. She could end up paralyzed after the operation. Anyways if she does go into surgery, she'll need someone to help her recover since this is a major operation and she won't be to mobile for awhile.

It didn't get right into the driver's door. She hit on the driver's side quarter panel but the impact caused her to slam her head. She says she blacked out for a moment. She probably would've been better off hitting head on.
