If I couldn't do the math then I truly failed at school. I know what I think I can afford but I don't know what I really can afford.See its when you say shit like this, that I dont know if you are serious or not. I don't really know how much utlilites, taxes, et all are. I don't know when the bills will be due. I haven't ever really been put on my own.

No. I am not counting any Lowe's money. I am a financial analyst in real life...That is my salary. I worked at Lowe's for the extra money. I know that I will have to give up some things to move out. I don't want to struggle just to own a home though. Plus, I only have maybe $2k for a downpayment. Most of my wealth is in stocks that I refuse to cash out to buy a house.

The last 2 houses I went to buy I didnt put a down payment, just a "deposit" so that they would hold the house. But then again this was for business, I wasnt moving in these house, so its defferent
