Well, it looks like I will be going to Best Buy to buy some of those plastic baffles. MDF started to swell sitting in the car...to much moisture or something.

I am thinking I want to do that bassrace thing next season. I am guessing 139.9 is achievable by a newb. What considerations should I be thinking...I suppose one would start with the alternator, electrical, deadening...

Would you say 139.9 is very competitive due to the fact it is readily accomplished?

Is this something even worth my while? Trying to find a hobby I can piddle around with and have some fun. I expect this venture to cost ~$3k if I select my products wisely.
