I used to be like that. My weight spiked when things started going wrong at 19, but has stayed constant at 185-190 since then. At 5'11", that's too heavy, but it doesn't bother me much and it is way more painful to do exercise at the moment.I'm 155, all day, every day... regardless of diet or activity levels.
One nice thing is that some of that weight I have worked into upper body muscle, which I couldn't develop when I was a teen (although my legs have always been excellent).
Probably the stupidest thing I've ever done to myself physically was skateboarding.
