Crunk Flammable Jello Times

I'm 155, all day, every day... regardless of diet or activity levels.
I used to be like that. My weight spiked when things started going wrong at 19, but has stayed constant at 185-190 since then. At 5'11", that's too heavy, but it doesn't bother me much and it is way more painful to do exercise at the moment.

One nice thing is that some of that weight I have worked into upper body muscle, which I couldn't develop when I was a teen (although my legs have always been excellent).

Probably the stupidest thing I've ever done to myself physically was skateboarding.

I am 6' but don't find 185 to be too heavy at all. I guess it depends on where the weights at....if I sit, I have a gut starting to grow, if I stand, I look quite fit.

Is it time, desire, or knowledge?
time: I could make the time, but I rely on this 3 hours per week my job gives me to work out. If I don't work out then, then I don't work out. I could work out in my living room, but I don't.

The knowledge is iffy. I have an idea of what to do, or at least I think I do. I don't find many forums for general physical fitness. I don't want to be He-Man or Usain Bolt. I want to walk up a few flights of stairs without tired...want to be able to take a punch, as well as throw one...not sure what you call that.

Is that 3 hours consecutive, or like 3 one hour blocks?

Being able to take and throw a punch really only comes from fighting other people. Even with combat specific training, you need to spar quite often to make it usable in a real-life situation.

Funny thing about Bolt is that, like Phelps, his body is built in a way that makes him naturally more successful than his competitors. All the training in the world won't make up for certain natural gifts.....****ers.

The proper weight depends on how your built, and if the excess is muscle...that's fine (as long as you have the diet to support it).

The target weight for 5'11" is anywhere from 145 lbs to 185 lbs. For my build and muscle mass, I should be 165-170. Most of my mass is in my stomach and chest.

Three one hour blocks....

I hope I don't ever get into a fight...I am just trying to describe what I feel is a general level of physical fitness.

I am about 6' even, weighing in at 185. I am not happy with my body, but have been told by a few that I have a distorted body image, which i might believe. I lost over 100 lbs and still have a gut... I hate it, even if it is residual skin.

I got down to 170 and had the same problems, although to a lesser extent. I would love to be back down to 170 though.

I couldn't imaging losing 100 lbs. I bet you'd feel great.
