i was just jamming his cover of little wing.

I don't like it to be honest. It is good and very much his own but I don't think it exactly does justice to the master. To me the guitar hand his playing is very good, pronominal maybe. But, I want the bass driven harder the drums much much tighter. I want it so when the drummer kicks the kick drum I get a round but tight thump not a Metalica loose paper fart sounding thing.

does it have the lows?

what i really liked in the album on that track, was how you can hear him sliding on the guitar, that screech gives me goosebumps including that harmonic pluck he puts in

Hey it sounds pretty good IMO. But, I am very harsh and particular with covers. You can either do it exactly like the original or nothing like the original.

Gary Hoey does awesome covers IMO. Low Rider, Lionel & Lucy, etc.
