I'd buy COD4 before I bought Halo 3. You being a military man I would think you might enjoy it more. It's more realistic, and the multiplayer is diverse enough to keep anyone happy.

Single player is fun too, and doesn't seem to be more of the same shit you did the last time.

I did enjoy playign COD4 but never got to play it online. I was good at the campaign. Halo ive played online and will never get tired of it. ever. I have never played campaign mode on halo tho, and dont plan on it.

Keep in mind I played COD4 once, for like 10minutes... I'm going to rent it today though... and check it out again.
Anyways, ATM I'd say Halo3. There are tons of online playlists, games, players, etc, etc. They have new maps coming out now, and offer updates for the game often. I just think it's a better pick up game than COD is... and it has a longer life... something could come along and beat COD anytime...

Something came along and beat Halo 3 for me. I can't even play it anymore, it's no fun.

Well, it depends on your game play style.
Are you more interested in SinglePlayer, Campaign, Multiplayer, Online, Replay Value, Realism, Future add-ons, entertainment?

perfect questions to ask and I agree. COD4 has amazing single player campaign action and it kept me drawn in. It's somewhat difficult and challenging but that's what makes it fun IMHO. The online play via xbox live is well worth it!!!

Multiplayer online. Future add-ons would be a bonus. By add-ons I guess you mean progress, like working towards a goal, like different weapons and shit like UCP and chevy were talking about. Or do you mean actual new weapons and maps. Just something to do when im bored really.
