I loaned my car to a friend this past weekend to take her kids to the kids' cousin's Bday party.

As the party was winding down and my friend was loading some crap into the trunk of my car (leftover cake and whatnot as I understand it) the little heathen son of the party's host wandered over.

Upon spying the audio gear located in Gossamer's trunk the little fooker took it upon himself to reach out and crush in the dustcap on my M6mkII12D4.

Naturally when I found out about it I came completely unhinged.

When I finally got the right phone number to contact heathen boy's mother and chatted with her about her son she agreed to replace the sub since I do not know of a way to pop the dustcap back out on a sub with a metal composite cone/dustcap once it's crushed in.

I gave her the option of getting me a D6 from the local DAT dealer if she wished or she could save some money and buy me an older but still BNIB sub that is for sale on "this car audio website I'm somewhat familiar with."

So - I'm meeting with her today for her to bring me a check.

After getting said check I'll be making a deposit and buying the 12" TDX D4 that excelerater has for sale here on the forum.

So - basically for having to drive around for a few days with the dustcap punched in on my M6 I'm upgrading to a TDX for free!
