Crunk Flammable Jello Times

What was in it? How did you like it? I need to sit in one.

how far are you from ATL?
It's hard to explain.

The songs are rather non-interesting to me, so you must consider that initially.

Put pretend there was a miniture band on the dash board playing some music.

If you sit there, you can point to where the piano is playing, point to where the sax is playing...

Say the piano is to the left and the sax is to the right...the piano is loud and clear on the left, and only ambient on the right....the opposite for the sax.

But as for sounding "better". I don't know. It was very nice, very clear, and I thought it was one of the neatest things in the world that I could point of where the instruments where coming from (including hearing them very clearly). But with the type of music I listen to...it wouldn't sound that much better I don't think.

So this kind of resolved the issue in what direction I want to take my truck. Super-duper-fidelity just isn't for me. I just keep what I have and I am pretty confident it will sound pretty good. Will I be able to point out instruments, doubtful. But I didn't build my system for that.

After experience from Dante's SPL build, to Tommy's Ho Problems, and now Larry Steven's Expedition, I have a good understanding of what is the "best" in each category. To tell you the truth, I enjoy the bass racing more than anything. It seems so "normal", if you will. It works with the music I listen to, I don't have to add a bunch of concrete. It's the middle of the road, and that is where I am personally. I don't want to go "all-out" either way. I am so glad I got to experience this. It showed me that fretting over 'maximum SQ' is pointless because I don't want that anyway.

It was about a 6-7 hour drive.

It's easy to appreciate it. I did not find myself wishing my system sounding like that. Not that his system sounded bad, but the work that went into it and the sacrifices made would not yield much value.

It's kind of like SPL. I love to spectate, but wouldn't want to compete.
