For all of you that knew SGT Trista Moretti,

It brings extreme sadness for me to have to tell you she was killed yesterday morning while serving her country in Iraq. She was asleep in her room in the early morning when her FOB in Kalsu was attacked by 30 240mm mortars. One fell directly on her roof and killed her.

I am so sorry I have to tell any of you who knew her this way. She was a great soldier and even more a great friend.

She will be extremely missed. To anyone who is on my list here that knows others that knew Trista, please let them know of this huge loss.

Please pray for her family and friends to get through this rough time.
