the irony of course comes in the fact that we now have *** once every month if we're lucky due to our schedules, distance, etc. etc.

Wow, then maybe you should just tone it down to really good friends with benefits. Stay close to each other in the emo since but realize the limitations of your relationship due to what you both have going on in your lives that are important as individuals. Timeing is the key if anything is meant to be. No need to waste years of your life trying to make something work that is going in 2 different directions. Look at the long term before you sacrifice the short term.

yeah, this started as sleeping together, and moved gradually getting more and more serious. but i'm happy.

When things first started to move in the serious direction i put some serious thought into it, and thought about that. But honestly i've never been this happy in a relationship. It'ss like we're the same person, same sense of humor, etc. etc. And i really dont think i could deal with seeing someone every single day. atleast not at this point. So this is probably for the best. I would say otherwise if we put alot of effort into making it work. Granted we do put effort into it, but it just works... we dont have to force it.
