Crunch PZI125.4 OK, for pushing some old Kicker mids/highs?

I'm looking for a small cheap amp that will make my wifes mids and highs sound a little better. They are just running off of the Pioneer HU right now. She has some Kicker 3 way 6x9s and Kicker 2 way 5 1/4's so nothing special...This Crunch amp is cheap and I figure it wont really put out 125W x 4-Ch @ 4-Ohms like it says, but do you think it will be decent atleast? Or am I wasting my money by buying it? Its like $70 some odd bucks brand new..

Hmm, no comments?? I have decided to get this one Crunch P1400.4 for $89.00, its rated at 175 watts x 4 ch @ 4 ohms...if it just puts out half what its rated I'll be happy..

I just recieved that same amp today... It's going in a boat to power a single 10" sub with 2 6x9's. Let us know how it works. I wont be able to install it for a few days.

I will post back when I hear how it sounds.

I had one for few months. the pzi175.4 isn't pushing a real 175x4 more something around 90-100watt rms x4 at top. It was a great deal for the price, but it stop working for no reason within 2 months. I wouldn't consider it.

In my boat, currently my head unit powers (2) 5 inchers and (2) 6x9's.

I installed the Crunch P1400.4 with only my 10" sub attached, and it's bridged onto 2 of the four channels just to see if it would perform ok. Well, it works just fine. Actually it blows the last amp I had in there away. The bass is ridiculous.

I'm not saying it's anything like some of the systems you guys have. But for an everyday idiot like me, it bangs plenty. And for a boat, it's just stupid... LOL

This actually replaced an OLD Crunch amp (DRIVE SERIES 150RMS bridged 2 CHANNEL) that was in the boat for about 7 years. The old one was literally rusty, and one of the frequency adjust knobs stopped working which made everything sound terrible. I think the older Crunch amp is made by different company though. The old one really took a beating being in a boat that I like to romp around in.

I can say that 2 channels on this new amp are much more powerful than the two on my old amp. And I thought the old one was decent for the amount I spent. I'm afraid this one might blow my 6x9's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif.

We'll see just how long this one lasts. I will post again to let you know if it blows up.
