Crunch or Autotek??

The 08 autoteks are made a lot cheaper than the older ones. I would look for an old supersport or Mean machine over either. But if you are sold on getting one of those, I would say get the Crunch. I had a 4 channel Crunch that I liked a lot as well. Why neither of the forum boner amps (AQ, Sundown) around that size?

probably price on the aq or sundown. i just sold my mm1000.1 about a hour ago,very solid amp. the only difference i heard was crunch rates their amps at max except for gp and autotek is rated rms.

I checked the Crunch does 750@2ohms.. RMS, i am no dummy

Both companies are made by Maxxsonics, which makes Hifonics as well.

If it was up to me, I'd go with the Autotek. The only good product I have seen from crunch is the 3000D, but Autotek has had several.

From what I been told by my distributor is that those 2 amps have the same board. Not sure.

that seems very likely.. i guess i ill just go with the pretttier of the 2 when i decide.. prolly gonna go with the crunch.. its $20 inmy pocket

Beware that crunch wont do 1ohm i cant even get mine to run 1.5ohms without going into protection mode but it handles 2ohms with no problem

I call bull, I have the older version of the same amp (1.5+years old), and I have been running 1ohm daily since it came out of the box, it's NEVER complained once. I love it. PZI1500.1

u like the pzi1500.1? i just orderd a pz1500.1 for my friend.. we gonna see what kinda damage it'll do.. i think they look great and if they dont get hot, or have protect issues then ill be fine

I have never had any issues, but I have the gains set lower than optimal, because honestly, my soundstage can't keep up with the bass as is. Haven't been able to upgrade my speakers/add an amp yet.
