Project Budget Bump in progress

Im working on an install in my girls car.. and I wanna do budget amps, that have a matching Monoblock and 2channel.. and i have narrowed it to these

Crunch has a Monster in the GP3000D-Pro and everyone knows Autotek has the Mean Machine beasts.. so these companies have some good products.. pick between these.. the SPECS are almost the SAME.. i think the autotek's are sexier

Crunch P1500.1- Around $155 shipped BNIB

or

Autotek SM1-1500- $175shipped BNIB

(pic of 1000 here) http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=19713

Each of these have matching a 2 channel amp for cheap.. I wanna do a clean install, matching amps.. the whole shebang

Rest of the install is:

HU: Pioneer 5900ib- Already have

Sub: BNIB Audioque sd2.5 15"- $125 box included (below)

Box: Ported 3cuft @ 35hz

Wire: Knu KLM 4ga- $36

Mids/Hi: 6.5 PG Octane R Comp Set- $40 local

Rear: Pioneer 4x6 3way- $20shipped

Autotek....the mean machine amps are some nice amps....A guy here has a Autotek 4000.1 on 2 15" RE MT's and its downright insane...

The Crunch would be a close 2nd though....their Pro series amps seem to be holding their own...

Autotek over Crunch IMHO..

I have had all the lines of Autotek and all have been top notch. Had the older MM1000.1D, SS750.1 class a/b and currently the SM1-1000 a/b Autotek amp pushing two cheapo Pioneer Premier Championship 400rms subs and it is very loud. Took me by surprise for sure. I recommed Autotek for sure. They say the SM amps are overrated, but my 750.1 SS which they say is underrated didn't make my lights dim, but my 1000 SM1 does.........big time. Need my god dam batteries back, lol!

Im not familiar with the SS750.1 off the top of my head but by the name it sounds like a class D. The SM are a/b I believe, so basically it would be the added inefficiency that were making you dim.

I could be wrong about what class amps they are though, just extending a possible answer for you

Rest of the install is:

HU: Pioneer 5900ib- Already have (Installed now)

Sub: BNIB Audioque sd2.5 15"- $125 box included (below) Getting WED

Box: Ported 3cuft @ 35hz Getting WED

Wire: Knu KLM 4ga- $36 Ordered

Mids/Hi: 6.5 PG Octane R Comp Set- $40 local Installed

Rear: Pioneer 4x6 3way- $20shipped Ordering Friday

the Octane comps sound SOO much better than i thought they would.. they scream on HU power.. Im temp Installing a bxi1606D this week.. it was in her other car, I dunno if i wanna buy her a new amp for her ***** Am and keep the1606D in this car and het a matching 2or4 channel, not too bad to only be about $200 deep in an install

The 08 autoteks are made a lot cheaper than the older ones. I would look for an old supersport or Mean machine over either. But if you are sold on getting one of those, I would say get the Crunch. I had a 4 channel Crunch that I liked a lot as well. Why neither of the forum boner amps (AQ, Sundown) around that size?

too expensive.. the whole point in this build is 2 spend lil as possible.. to make the chick have a lil bump, with a clean loud install.. trying 2 stay under $600 complete

if you arent opposed to doing used you can get alot better on here for the price
Im not against used, not much chance of finding matching amps, in like new condition for the same buck.. im lookin at MAYBE $220-250 for 2 bnib amps SHIPPED

The SS line has both the A/B and class d lines. My 750.1 was the a/b model, trust me I look at shit like that.
