Does it do the rated 3000? If so what all would I need like batt wise to get it to do 3000 cause for right now I gotta use my stock alt on my tahoe

Yup, it is a solid rated amp, if you search over on termpro alot of people dig them. Probably the cheapest quality power out there.

Now as far as battery it would all depend on what your stock tahoe alt is and what your car uses for power stock. I had this on a 200amp alt with two pm3100's in the back and it usually only dropped to 13.6on average rap/etc. If I cranked it for a full song of real bass heavy music (bass mekanik type crap) I got it to drop to 13.2 a few times. ...forgot to mention, my tests were with the vehicle at idle, I think my HO alt only does around 120 or 130a at idle.

I'll let others who have run 3kw on a stock alt chime in, unfortunately I have no experience with that setup
