SO it's actually good stuff?

Reason for asking - Friend has a "160w" Crunch Audio amp, old school little sucker, and it pushes the hell out of two 4500 12's from MTX

Depends on how old. Used to be made by Audio Products, but older than that used to be made by Crunch itself, who had Zed Audio make it (ESX, Hifonics, a few other brands).

So depends on how old. The new stuff is on par with Boss Audio.
