Crown Vic fuel pump relay and subs in the trunk

Anyone on here have a mid 90's Crown Vic with subs in the trunk ever trip the fuel pump relay and shut the fuel pump off? Ive got a 94 and I think the relay was installed to shut off when the car gets hit or something. Anyways Ive been having problems with it tripping while Im driving and my system is turned up loud. Im trying to figure out if I need to get it replaced or bypass it or what?

i have a marquis.....from what i have experienced i've never heard of that problem with ford products...alot of them have/ had it...

i've had 3 12's in mine and it was perfectly fine....i'd look into other problems first.

when the car dies do you have to go in the trunk and press the button in order for it to restart, or does it start right up after it initialy dies?? if it were that button/sensor you would have to press it for the car to re-start....

I didnt see your response till today. Yeah I have to open the trunk and push the button to get the car to run again. Im guessing it something else going on. Ive got some bad voltage drops lately, I think its time for a HO Alt first, and then maybe replace the relay. Anyways thanks for the input Im guessing with 3 12s yours is a lot louder than mine.
