bs, i pay more liability on my junker than i do Full Coverage on my bike

to the guys that say insurance isnt bad: who do you go through? how much would it cost for just liability for a 19yr old? i'd love to get a bike, but if the money i save from gas isn't more than the extra insurance i'd pay it just wouldn't be worth it.

I'm 29, have my home insurance, truck insurance,and two bikes on the same policy. I also have a spotless record. Sometimes being old pays off.

I'm through american family currently. I look at riding as recreational and a means of transport though, so even if it wasn't so cheap on gas it would still be worth it to me.

i drive mine everyday it doesnt rain, about 35mpg compared to my grand cherokee's 16ish

2008 nija 250R 55mpg $4000 brand new

the new 08' version was redesigned and look pretty sick for a 250. My buddy bought an 07', the 07's and back were the same design all the way to the 80's i believe. Never seen the new baby ninja in person but it looks pretty sick.

I got american family also, they were the cheapest insurance company around when i looked into insurance, for my sports cars, and with my SR22 and speeding tickets,well i needed the cheapest lol!

i'm with state farm. It all depends on who you talk to. You could call the state farm up the street and get quoted $1000/year and then call State farm across town and get $800/year. Just takes some work, one day sit down and open the phone book and call every place u see.

Hmm, all of our cars (6 total) are insured with state farm.

I've got allstate, pay like 150/year for an 02 F4i

allstate was cheaper than state farm, thats why I switched

If this would be your first bike.....You really don't I bet you'd roll around with your helmet dangling from your side helmet holder as well

Anyways. I'm 22 and go through state farm. Full coverage for $74 a month (600cc k6 gsxr).

And if you're on a bike, for the love of God, get full coverage. What a stupid thing to do to just get liability.

A clean record and that many vehicles on the same policy, I'd guess you'd get a **** good deal.
