Crossovers

I have a set of ID ctx 6.5's I just ordered for my front stage. I also have an older set of JL VR comps, but the mids were damaged in shipping. Assuming the JL's have a better crossover, would I see any difference in running one vs. the other with the ID speakers and Tweeters?

nope, cross overs are designed around the speakers themselves. They are a lot more complex then simple xover points.

it may be a long sale but some one may want them.

totally. people want to add tweeters all the time. you can sell the tweeters and crossovers pretty easily.

If you could pass on the woofer impedance that the x-overs were designed for, and the x-over point/slope, they would be easier to sell.

Woofers were 4 ohm, and I looked on JL's website but cant find the x-over point/slope. Thanks for the help guys!
