What is the best box for this sub....? Should it run ported or sealed....I heard about 1.4 sealed not sure of ported size so which is best sound wise and size wise? ...this is for a single sub...Dual 1.5 if it makes a difference...

sorry for the delay,

if you are going sealed, you can use as small as 0.5 cuft. and the max is 1.6cuft. the difference in the f3 between the min and max is only 5 hz I would personally run it in a box around 1.0 cuft.

Just a note, Patrick at CM in NY is a great guy adn very helpful. If you are using a brand new ul, use a smaller box because it will allow you to push it harder until it breaks in, whick can take a month But you will love it when you hear it

smaller the better, well to a point, to 1.0 will do you well. let me know what you think. what are you pushing it with?
