So far this is what im going to put in my 04 f150.

Head Unit: Alpine CDA-7995 (From current Install)

Front Speakers: Alpine Spr-17s (I worked at best buy, these were a great price)

Rear:Infinity Kappa Fill speakers

Subs: 2 Stereo Integrity Mags V4

Door Speaker Amp: Memphis 3004 currently (could use something different though

Sub Amps: 2 Sundown Audio 1000d's Strapped

Sounddeadener: either 80 or 160 sq foot of Second Skin Damplifier Pro

RCA Interconnects: Knu Koncept Krystals

Power/Ground Wire: I think Kicker 1/0, im open here though.

Speaker Wire: I think some 12 Gauge Stinger

Alt: Looking for 250 amp Alternator

Batteries: I need help here, I will be getting a tool box, and put them in there

Supercab Seats: Ill lift them 2.5 Inches for airspace for box

Box: 3/4 inch MDF, Wood Glue, Wood Screws

Connectors: need help in terms of O-rings, spades, battery connectors things like that ie. when ill need them and what not.

If any money left:

I want to put a truckputer in my truck soley for music, navigation, dvds

8.4 inch touchscreen, maybe 10.4 inch (doubtful). Possible fiberglass work to put in monitor in dash and relocate my head unit closer to the bottom of my dash.

I will also need some help installing this around first week of August, one of those weekends. I am in West Houston, Texas. After this install, I dont really have much to offer, other than lunch and dinner. I say dinner because I see this all taking some serious time. My second system, first time installing it myself. I should have pretty much all the tools we would need.

If you would change something on my list here please list what and why. i am the most confused on the electrical aspect, and I dont really know how im gonna lift my rear seat, im thinking just longer bolts, and a steel block. . .

For sound I listen to rock, rap, christian, and emo music (rare) and just other random genres(spelling). I want a good sq setup, with the ability to put in some bump when I need it.

I see you've studied up..........

Get a Kinetik 2400s or something equilavant. And other than misc shit like distros and stuff looks fine.

I won't say it's impossible, but not many will offer those services for free. Maybe if you got a hot sister that's single?

I have tried at least, I just dont wanna make a total jack *** of my self on my first install.

The sound deadening and taking everything out of the truck I can do my self. I just needed help with electrical connections pretty much. I for some reason am just terrified of electricty (Should of seen me in lab when we were welding, almost walked out), and for some reason I just think im gonna zap my self to death! Strange fear I know but eh. But my choices on wires look ok? Kicker 1/0 gauge is pretty expensive, didnt know if there were any alternatives

you can get the Kicker 1/0 kit for around $100 on a lot of sites. Comes with 1/0 power and ground wires, 4awg power and ground, 2 distros, fuse and fuse holder, some connectors. That's what I used....works great. Just google "kicker hyperflex 1/0"

have you ever touched both ends of a 9v battery? you know, the AA or AAA ones? Your car battery runs off of BARELY more voltage (12v). You can't even feel less than ~40-50 volts, let alone actually recieve any harm from it. When you wire up 10 car batteries in series, then you can be worried about getting shocked. But until then, its just an uneducated fear, as most are.

All you need to do is disconnect your negative post from your battery. It's normal to be a little intimidated at first. Is there a basic how to do thread about this anywhere? I'm sure yout00b has a tutorial of some sort.
