Crescendo BC5500 or SAZ-4500?

So which of the two is a better choice? The BC new makes 1k more rms for almost half the cost of an saz-4500.. But Is that true rating or is that BS? I havent played with Crescendo yet. Im looking to power 2 12" AA mayhems. As far as electrical goes I will have a mechman 270 amp Alt with 2 G31 batts (undecided yet). So any one got any experience with either? How do they stack up next to eachother?

Theyre both very good amps. The crescendo might put out a tad bit more power but personally if it was me, id spend the extra cash and get the sundown. Im amazed at how well my sundown saz-3500d performs. You wont go wrong with either or.

I was thinking the same thing but would the mayhems take that much abuse daily from either of the two? These are monster amps lol

They are almost the same amp from the same place, There was just thread about this... The BC series is rated at 13.8 as well so I would go with them... Sundown your paying for a name anymore just like JL... I also have 2 brand new bats for sale if you are interested...
