So could i use my CC as a down payment since its at 0% til 08 or do dealers not do that sort of thing??
Up to the specific dealer you are going through.
Worse comes to worse, if that 0% rate includes cash advances (some cards have an additional interest charge for cash advances, so don't do this unless cash advances are also 0% till '08 and you will definitely have it paid off by then), then you could always just get a cash advance if you could find a bank to give you one in the amount that you needed.

You can, but I believe there is a limit. Here you can only "charge" $1000.

This would be perfect if i couldnt sell my car out right , id owe 3k to a 0% finance and still have 1k down in cash... But it still is a tough call.. 2 payments ****.. Especially when ur default on one payment is 31.99 %

You would be much better off just finding a way to pay the downpayment in cash.

Through the finance company you can pay it off via phone or a cc check...just not at the dealership. We did it when I got rid of my wifes lease.

Agreed, dont be mislead by the no interest hypes...if its not totally paid off by the time interest kicks in...you owe the whole amount from day one.

Its also Daily interest. Your payments also do not apply to it until all other charges are paid first.
