I've never made a single comment about DC until this thread, because someone said that the level4xl wouldn't take 5kw...even though it has the same coil as the level5, and I have seen those coils handle 6kw. How long will a heavyweight take 6kw for on a daily basis? Both subs are being pushed beyond what the company specifies as safe operating conditions...what makes the RD so much more reliable? The fact that you like them more?

We have ran them at full tilt for 30mins straight and they have not failed. (We have ran them this hard a few times a day for over two wekks now) The RMS on these subs are 4K and can handle well over 25K for burps.

Look around, Many companies are going for budget. Reducing the products they offer. It is everywere not just in 12 volt.
Many companies have stopped going to trade shows and events, It is what it is.

I did not say all or point out anyone. Quit taking stuff personally.

Hey fellas, I got to sit in this earlier today

Had a friend come, he was whining the rest of the ride home, I can say that.

The subs sound pretty **** good, and quite frankly they're loud as piss

Steve definitely isnt scared to turn them up and beat on them some, they're tuned fairly low and they pick up the lows pretty **** good.

The woofers did more than I expected...

could you please give an example, or PM me a company that has lowered their standards in terms of build quality. you have yet to supply any proof.

So wrong I got rid of my APX and APXX... they couldnt compare daily

Wht were the price differences though?? I've gotten price points on the 4 subs (APX, APXX, HW, and SHW) and the Atomics were significantly less.

Were the setup direct drop ins or were they both entirely different setups???

Im not trying to bash RD, just can't see buying their IMO overpriced products when an extremely similar product is soo much less.

Dropped in the HW and the SQ was about the same, but when I increased the power.... The HW just over took it.

Then with around 4k the APX and APXX took a shitter....

V.1 were the same, V.2 ARE NOT!!!!
