I'm gonna open up a few amps i have laying around to show any noobs who keep asking the same goddamn question of why their 1000 watt hifonics amp doesn't hit as hard as their buddies 500 watt JL amp.

Everybody feel free to post any gut shots after mine , post model number and rated output so these noobs can see the difference. Remember , don't just post the nice ones , post gut shots of crap amps too.

Look at how the pioneer has hardly any components , mostly just jumper wires on the board , small power supply , miniscule capacitors. And yet out of all the amps it's rated to have the highest power output. Well i will tell you , anyone of the other "smaller" amps will put this "bigger" pioneer on its a/ss.

So this is how it works , post up your guts everybody. I wanna see crap , and audio gold too. :]

Notice the oddball mosfets in the sony or the fried mosfet in the PPI?? The sony has parts coming in the mail , and the PPI is on the shelf till i can find parts.

You arn't going to see much difference per say between the inside of a Hifonics vs audioque vs a sundown, but the devil is in the details...
