Hell yeah Statham is in it... it picks up right where the plot (lol can I call it that?) left off in the first one... and the trailer is even more badass than the original Crank

the movie isn't about making sense or having a good plot. It's about one ridiculous action scene after another.

It's absolutely silly to assume that the director or writer of these movies intended for us to rationally believe that he survived the fall... it's just a very loose plot device in the make believe world of film.
