verizon wont press charges. i know quite a few people who work for verizon. they just give it back to the owner.

i work for us cellular and we confisgate phones all the time. i just call the owner and see if they want it back,

I work at us cellular and if we get a phone that's in "missing or stolen" status, we just keep the phone and contact the owner. The person with the phone walks away.

get the craigslist ad printed out ASAP before he removes it off the site.

otherwis eyou gotta try your luck with contacting craigslist and seeing if they have record of the posted ad.

well it wasnt me that bought the phone it was my bro...and he met the (now found out he is 16yrs old) at the guys actual house...and my bro and dad got the ad printed out too and took it with them to Verizon to get a receipt sayin when the phone was confiscated from my bro and then my dad went on to the popo office in the city the guy that sold the phone lives to let them kno wat was going on...idk wat happened at the popo office...i was @ work.

only if the phone wasnt registered if it ever was when purchased there is an imei code on it...if verizon would have tried to take it i would have said no n just walked out..cingular tried to take a phone from me that i bought off a kid cuz they said it was stolen n i just took it and walked out...but yes i would check the numbers on it and find who it belonged to and find who sold it to go to his house put his mom on her knees get head in front of him and take the money back he owes u lol
