i wonder how he put the screws in the back of the amp while mounting it in the port. my money is on 2 screws hold the amp in place.

why would you use screws just set it in there and then cover up the hole for a clean look

Exactly.

And you know, that black carpet also absorbs heat, so the amp will stay nice and cool, and the box will get nice and hot, of course.
