i was washing my motor today and noticed that 1 of the brackets that holds the alternator has a crack about 1/2 of the way across it. wtf? the bad part, is that on the s-10, it is one large piece that kinda holds everything from the water pump, alternator, tension idler etc. it would be a pain in the *** to change that whole thing. maybe JB weld would do the trick? or pay someone to weld it with a mig welder? looking for options other than replacing that whole piece for 1 crack.
