Covering methods other than carpet?

Well should be building an enclosure in the next week or two when time permits. I am contemplating using carpet or not though. Does anyone use anything else to cover their enclosures? Paint em? Havent really thought/seen anything other then carpet or fiberglass built enclosures.

Vinyl, either flat or padded, also textured paints are good at hiding an imperfect enclosure finish.

When doing wood grain a LOT of prep work needs to be done. Bondo goes on every end seam, sanding, priming, etc.

How about suede? Many modern luxury cars are beginning to use that on the factory interiors and it looks great in my opinion. I have never seen a box covered in suede....

Watch Unique Whips. That's about all they use to cover their boxes,lol. Looks alright.

Carpet is your easiest choice. Paint is extremely difficult and most often it just ends up looking worse than if you'd left it unpainted. Vinyl is hard as well because it doesn't stretch like carpet does. Suede? Right.
