Why waste your time going to court in the first place? Misdemeanor traffic offenses can be paid anytime during regular hours at the clerks desk or usually mailed in. Why miss work and make it cost you MORE money.................

Call the court on the next open day, Tuesday and ask them. They mightve sent you a letter but waiting on that could get a bench warrant. Call them and talk to them on tuesday because they wouldve moved the scheduled ish to another day.

Sometimes they wont give you the option to pay them depending on your record and/or the offense. And the date on the ticket has been here so he wouldve needed to pay before the court date i believe. Thats something he can ask the court about.
