Couple really quick question about sub placement

So first, i assume you have to install a sub into some kind of box, correct?

And also, is a common place to do this just in the trunk of your car?

Lastly, do you always have to build the box on your own, or are there pre-built ones availble?

you can build your own to save money and design sport your design or yes, you can by prefab enclosures. Subs dont necessarily need to go in the trunk but thats most common due to the size of woofer boxes...
