y they stealin my bucket?
up front i got a kenwood KDC-X790 HU and the front and rear RCA's are run to a D3 400.4 amp. the front channels are bridged to the left comps, and the rear channels are bridged to the right comp set.

i got the gains, HPF (80), LPF (200) matched for left and right. the RCA's are placed in a way so that i have stereo sound.

1) what should my amp be set to? 2 ch or 4 ch? (its on 4 channel i believe)

2) my Head units crossover is set to full. when i turn the HPF on say 80, it acts as a low pass and band passes very few frequencies? why is that?

3) does the LPF do anything if adjusted when its on "HPF mode?"

ill draw a pic of how i have my RCA's and see if nebody can see if those are right too

Since you're running the comps off this you only need to do HP on them and your LPF should be off, actually I think the amp has a switch for EITHER lpf or hpf you should be in hpf mode.

Since you have front and rear sets of rca's going in it should be set to 4 channel you have it correctly set.

Since you are using the amps xover no need to worry about this, just keep the HU on full.

No.
