couple dual battery questions.

Soon I will be running an aq2200 and t400.4. Car is 09 cobalt stock battery and no big 3 right now. My battery is already ib the trunk. What additional battery would be good for this setup(close to 150 or less). Will be running fosgate 0 gauge on everything. Are fuses required between batteries(what size)? Im sure Im forgetying something right now.

Also, what kind of strippers do yall use for 0 gauge. Cut the **** out of my hand the otherday with mine which are basically only ment for speaker wire

just use short 0awg wire to connect the positive and negatives together on the batt in parallel like you would a sub or just ground the second batt and run just a positive run. i use the same cutters for 0awg as i do for 16awg speaker wire. but i use a set of klein wire crimpers with the cutting tip. any good sealed group 31 batt will help u i personally like xs power and northstar batts but they are quite pricey. look on sonicelectronix.com and pic the biggest u can get for your money dont get a capacitor or some hybrid batt that would be a waste of money

Dont use caps. But thanks for the help was thinking about a deep cycle or just one with same specs as mine but not sure if itll be enough to feed both amps

No as I am sure u still have the stock wet cell in the tirewell. U need a g31 that is sealed agm, etc... Look for deka9a31's will be around ur budget and are solid batts.
