Couple AQ Excursion Vids 4 15's

Just found a vid of my last setup and I dont think I ever posted it. Was 4 15's in 16cubes @ 36hz on 2000rms (500/sub). There AQ SDC 2.5 15's. Wanged pretty good for $600 in subs and $400 in amps. Stock battery, stock 110amp alt, big 3.





Just seen alot of threads lately about people looking for budget equipment, I think the SDC 2.5's and AQ1200's are a good combo:veryhapp:

how did you like the subs facing back like that? ever try it in a "wall" style with subs forward?

its almost a wall. turn that box around and seal it up. i bet itll sound a ton better. not that its bad. i like it, just wish it was turned around.

Definetely would NOT recomend it, they were about 6" away from the hatch and window, and they just rattled and beat the hell out of them, I wish I could find my rear window vid, the thing would go CRAZY.

I wanted to go subs forward, but I just didnt have the room, I only had 32" height, and 36" width between the wheel wells. And yes it was ported, port was up towards the roof, basic slot with tons of port area.

It did great hair tricks, and got dirty loud. But im not an SPL guy, I tore down that setup after about 2 weeks, I need my rear window and storage lol, hockey bag and sticks dont fit in the back seat

Kinda miss it, got some panties wet.

The 2 of them with more wattage that Im running now gets loud to, but doesnt do much for a hair trick

box is flexing like a mofo, if it was stonger it would have been louder

Box didnt flex at all, the box is MOVING in the vids, it wasnt bolted down

Such a shame to see so much sound lost cause its like 3 inches away from the glass and rear hatch. Could be so much louder

It was ported to the front, moved a TON of air

Ive since tried 2 different boxes, and the one I built just this week is by fat the loudest ( 40hz tune probly helped with that)

I'll have vids of that one in the build thread later today when I finish paiting the port n carpetting it
