yes a countersink bit helps or coarse (spelling) drywall scews and and predrilling with a good power screwdriver.Real quick just wanna know what do you use to countersink screws? I'm thinking my answer is a countersinking bit,not for sure though.

Use a bit that is the same size as the actuall shaft in the center of the screws. So you dont want it to tbe the same diameter of the screw with the threads.If i'm using a 1 5/8" coarse drywall screw,what size drill bit should I use?
