Could You do a quick check for me?

Well this is where I'm at. If I use 3 4" ports made out of regualr 4" PVC, then I can fit them plus the subs on the same side. If I use aeroports, I will only be able to use 2 4" ports. The ports are goignt o have to go on the front because the sides are going to be very close to the walls of the cargo area and they cant go on top because I usually leave my cargo cover closed, so the poprts would be blocked by that.

So yall think 2 4" aeroports would work fine wine and have no port noise?

Ok, for two type R's, in 4.18 cuft tuned to 32 hz, what do yall recommend?

A) 2 6" PVC ports @ 31.21" long (56.52 inches of port area)

B) 3 4" PVC ports @ 20.81" long (37.68 inches of port area)

In option A, the 3 ports will start from the front of the enclosure, go in about 10", then there will be a 90 degree elbow facing up and another one after that facing the front of the enclosure, then more pipe to complete the desired length. Will look like a sideways "U".

In option B, the 2 ports will start from either bottom corner and go in about 12" to a 90 degree elbow that will turn the ports along the back of the enclosure. From there, they will go along the rear of the box toward each other. Will look like a layed down "L".

Do yall recommend the extra port area for these subs?

The 3" ports would have 2 90 degree bends each whereas the 2 6" ports would only have 1 90 degree bend each. And the 6" ports have more surface area, but the 3 4" ports take up less volume. Its a toss up!

Does anybody know what my final tuning would be with the two?

net volume after subtracting subs and 3 4" ports 20.81" long = 3.73 cuft

net volume after subtracting subs and 2 6" ports 31.21" long = 3.16 cuft

all input is helpful!
