could this work?

I have an FI Q 12. It is a dual 1 ohm sub and i have a planet audio p2250d. I have it wired to 2 ohms right now. It is supposed to do 2000+ at 1 ohm. if i wire the sub down to .5 ohms would the amp be stable, and if i watch the gains would this still be too much power for a Q?

no the amp is not stable to .5 so do that at your own risk. with impedence rise you might be ok but be careful
