Could I just tget another battery?

My lights dim considerably now that I have my first system in my car. EVERYTIME the bass hits it dims the lights. Will an extra battery in the trunk help this?

Make sure you've already done the big 3 first.

Then new or extra batt second.

i would upgrade the alt. then a batt then do upgrade the power and ground wires. after all that you should be fine
