Cotton filters for intakes?

K&N makes a nice drop in filter and a real nice oil filter but I think those high performance add ons are really not practical for a daily driver type of car.
 

Yeah, I now wish I had gotten the V tec version of my car haha. But this car is just putting me through college. Gonna take 4 years to pay off anyway. But once I'm out of college, I will get something with a little more horsepower.

it should last you a good long time if you maintain it right, and still have a decent trade in value on something in the future.

Very true. I wanted to go with something along the lines of how "new" my civic is, but just something that is a little quicker. Not really sure what though. Also don't want to have a higher insurance because it would be considered a "sports vehicle".
