I have two problems; first one is the radio is in SAFE mode after the battery was replaced by the previous owner. Car was only purchased (from a friend) last month.
So it's in safe mode and to get it out I need to enter the code by the normal method of turning the radio off, holding AS button, turning radio back on etc.
The problem I have is that the radio itself won't turn off. So I can't get it to the stage of entering the code.
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks in advance, this is a complete pain. Took it to the Vauxhall dealer near me and they said they couldn't help, they didn't even look at it though.
