copper brass and aluminum

call up any metal supply store.

Look in the yellow pages under welding and call em up.

Alum. is the way to go IMO unless you are building a real spl vehicle or just have money to burn.

You should be able to get 1/4'' x 2'' fairly cheap. Also remember if they only have 1 x 1 or .5 x 1 its the cross area that matters toward total conductivity.

So .25 x 2'' is the same as .5x1

What size are you looking for?

I just picked up some copper on ebay real cheap. about 20 shipped for .25 x .75 x 48
only thing is .25 x .75 is almost no cross section

You could have used 8 gauge jumpers and had the same current capacity //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

really? Just bussin two batteries together with it is all. Maybe I double it up and do .5x.75

Go with flat 6061 or T6511 aluminum for affordability
6061 is fine for most people, as long as you don't try to tap it...(i know its a pita to tap aluminum anyway but the 6061 is super soft)

that site is SUPER cheap on tubing though!

How long do they usually take to deliver?

I have been looking for Bus bars as well but not sure what would be the best thickness/width to get.

Anyone have a Clue if you are running 6 powermaster 3100's

4 Alts - 1360 + amps

Pushing 6 - SunDown 3000's
