Convertibles? Drop top boom?

Looking at possibly getting a convertible, this one has a stock single 10" IB setup. Is IB the only good option for convertibles? how does a regular back-firing ported enclosure do?

Depends on what you are wanting from this system, but I usually recommend down-fire in a vert. I just discussed this topic, literally 5 mins ago, in another thread here. So I wont repeat myself, i'll just link it.

^ true dat, downfiring is the only way to go unless you wanna sound like a rubberband...

What about a vert with stock subs under the front seats? Is it worth my time/money to just replace them or should I start fresh? I have a BMW 135i vert.
