No. Learning a lesson is buying a 12" flame series sub and smoking it on a 75w alpine amp (told my buddy audiobahns ****! lol!)... buying a $500 amp to have it clip your W7s to death is a catastophe.... but it makes for a good video

I mean, I am running a 13w7 off an Orion 1200D.... and wow. I got the 13w7 for 500 and the 1200D for 249...

Both brand new.. 13w7 shop was going outta business... and the 1200D was when they were changing styles.

Honestly, if i had a dollar for every time the punks at school mentioned JL or w7... I could buy a dd 9900 series sub and spank em... W7s arent bad subs, dont get me wrong... theyre just overpriced because theyre some of the best subs that large audio shops and chains sell...

We established in your last thread that if you're going to get W7s, you need to get a worthwhile amp. if you're going to use shitty amps, might as well get shitty subs.

 

get a four fi q 15's and a piar of sundown SAZ1500D's. it will be loud and clean, and cheaper than the w7's.

 

W7's are nice but they aren't God's gift to car audio. get off JL's penis.
